About Giacomo
Giacomo Merello is a lawyer, diplomat, regulatory consultant and the current Baron of Leslie (UK). He advises on international law, corporate structuring, and blockchain regulations. Beyond his professional activities, Giacomo maintains and promotes his historical legacy within the Baronage of Scotland. He is also a Iaido practitioner and teacher, dedicated to preserving the traditions of Japanese swordsmanship, and a PADI Master Scuba Diver with a commitment to ocean welfare. He is also a member of the Singapore St. Andrew’s Society, which promotes Scottish culture and heritage in Singapore.
On the personal side, Giacomo is married and has two children; he is also the oldest son of Italian pop singer Marcella Bella and nephew of Italian music author Gianni Bella.
